*Eyes of the Beast was a Hunter spell that allowed a player to control and move their pet instead of their player character. Mind Vision is a priest spell that allows a player to view through any living mob's eyes.
Eyes of the Beast was removed in 2010. I stopped playing WoW in 2009 and had this particular page planned from the moment I started writing the script, so, since the plot is technically set in Burning Crusade, I say it stays!
Poor Warriors. They don't get any shiny stuff to play with.
There's a new version: [Eagle Eye] http://www.wowhead.com/spell=6197/eagle-eye#comments that doesn't work that well with the much-shortened viewing distance, but Hunter's still have a look-ahead.
Eagle Eye isn't really a new version of EotB, since it was in the game alongside EotB since the beginning, but I'm splitting hairs.
Winthir: "What do I get to do?"
Thook: "You'll stand in front of me and soak up damage"
Winthir: "Oh..."
Actually, leaving someone to keep watch, when the others are incapacitated seems like a really good idea
