Hey! A little late, sorry! I'm hoping to do a live draw Sunday, 4pm EST. No guarantees: I may be on a boat.
D: on a boat how will we know when and where if anything your going to live draw?
So just now Miss Snarkypants finally realizes something very important!
D'aww! Finally some understanding between these 2 unlikely allies.
AND CHAOS IS BACK!!!!!!!
[sqeals with joy] ☺
While I love the whole story, I was hoping that there would have been some kind of conflict that would have demonstrated that Thook and Miss Snarkypants have moved past Horde vs. Alliance tension. This portal to the Arathi Highlands feels too... easy. Mavelyre and Daktyles could have been rescued from Forsaken necromancers, or something.
I rewrote the Mavelyre/Daktyls storyline about 10 times and was never fully satisfied with how they played out. When I returned from my break, I had a really cool idea, but at that point, I knew I was in no place to go back and rewrite. I'm still seriously considering it, but I'm not sure if I'd like to cut out a section of "canon" as far as my comic is concerned. I suppose I should ask you guys: rewrite that entire section or just leave it as is?
If you do decide on rewriting that section, I would completely support you. However, I also understand how big of a project that would be. Either way, I will happily continue reading. I always look forward to reading your comics. :-)
You have just asked one of the hardest questions an artist/writer faces.
People like us are special. By our very natures we are constantly exploring, synthesizing, and creating new ideas.
A lot of times, we come up with a new concept for a piece after we have completed it. The answer to the question of whether or not to overhaul your prior work lies within you.
If you choose to go ahead with the update be mindful it will confuse the readership unless you take extra steps to let them know that you are doing a rewrite of existing material.
